Remember Remember the 5th of Novemever- Another Year Gone

happy-birthday-satan-is-pleased-with-your-progress-26669603.pngRemember, remember, the 5th of November
The Gunpowder Treason and plot;
I know of no reason why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.

No… Today isn’t about assassinating Kings…

It’s that time for me to lock myself away in my castle for the 24-hour period that is my birthday.

For whatever reason since my 16th birthday, my birthday day has always been surrounded with nothing but misfortune and freak accidents. Hospitals, car accidents, war zones, and assaults. The 5th of November is never a day that I am excited for. It’s like the universe is trying to stop my demon self from going any further (ha!).

This year I celebrate my last year in my 20’s. I don’t even feel 29. Like, when did this happen?

I have nothing planned and I intend to stay holed up as long as I can. Here is to another year on earth!

The day actually didn’t go bad at all. I received some wonderful gifts, got a black birthday cake, and got to spend the day with Family. I didn’t die, almost die, or end up miserable… I’d say the day was a success!

  1. Wow! It sounds like your birthday goes a lot like all the vacations and anniversaries that my husband and I share. We’ve had flat tires (on our wedding night, mind you), ER visits during vacation, someone smashed our window and stole a bag from our car (anniversary trip), our car completely broke down during annother anniversary trip, etc. I am glad you ended up having a good birthday and made it through unscathed. Cheers to another year so you can join the dirty 30 club like me. 🙂

    By the way, welcome to the NaBloPoMo link up. I am looking forward to reading your other posts.
